Not exactly Tung's acupuncture

Sorry to say that, I just purchased three books by this author, "the best of master tung", "acupuncture for internal medicine disorders " and acupuncture for pain" and these are basically the same book with some changes in the last 50 pages in relation to treatment protocols.
I took a few webinar witb Susan Johnson and am using the Tung's acupuncture books that were written by Dr. Wei chia young which are authentic and have a direct lineage to Master Tung's teachings.
I have a few issues with Dr. Chu's books.
1. Too much self advertising and self glorification.
2. Repeating content - not having a real value in relation to what is advertised on the book's title.
3. Knowledge doesn't seem to be authentic - it will probably work but not accurate enough to be Tung's style.
4. Not even attempting to have a diagnostic or theoretical explanation to why we are using the points.
5. This seems to be more Dr. Chu personal interpretation of this style.
This is just my humble opinion, I apologize if I offended anyone.

Straight Forward Guide of Clinical Gold!

I thought this was an outstanding book on the application of Tung's acupuncture. This is what I would call a true clinical desk reference. It is very easy, within just moments, to find a list of the most tried and true points for any given pain presentation. The point diagrams are very well illustrated, allowing for quick and easy location of these points.
The author, Dr. Robert Chu, is a direct disciple of the late and great Dr. Chao Chen, whose genius gave birth to the Balance Method. Dr. Chu has an extensive understanding of I-Ching style acupuncture, including Tung style. He is the founder of the International Tung’s Acupuncture Research Association (ITARA). Though this book does not spend time delving into the theory behind every point, it DOES offer the reader many decades of Dr. Chu's battle-proven clinical experience.
As the book title says, this is a clinical reference guide. If you need a book that highlights the most effective clinical points for a given physical presentation, this is your guide.

This is probably the best book available about master Tung's acupuncture on the market

This is probably the best book available about master Tung's acupuncture on the market. It is a HIGHLY practical book. It is a major step forward in the understanding of master Tung's acupuncture. Rather than memorizing a bunch of extra points, one should really start thinking acupuncture in a rational and consistent way : that is what this book aims at ! This really is a best of master Tung's acupuncture.
