Philip Yancey is my favorite author. He thinks through the blur of information out there and comes up with kernals of truth and food for thought. Vanishing Grace is a call to reach out to those who need a Savior and Lord without pre-judging the person. None of us are perfect, but we tend to think we can set the standards. Shame on us. Jesus came to save sinners from eternal seperation from God. Who are we to judge their worthiness. Great book. Great Study guide and DVD.

This is an outstanding book. It has generated wonderful discussions in our book group. Each chapter sparks questions and goals for our next week to try out in our daily living! Every Christian should read this book and do some soul searching about what kind of Christianity we show to the world! Lots of food for thought in this book.
